Inside Tips for the Pro Roller Attache x50

By September 26, 2010It Also Fits..., Products

I thought I knew everything about the new Lowepro Pro Roller Attache x50. That is, until I spent some time with product manager Tim Grimmer. After watching him work the bag in magic ways, I asked him if I could record his inside tips to share with you. Of course, he agreed.

So here’s a short, but pithy video that illustrates how versatile and amazing this bag is.

I filmed it at photokina in the Lowepro booth. So if you couldn’t be there in person, this is the next best thing.

The one I instpected in the store didn’t have the carrying bag. Although I knew something was missing I liked how much room there was in it even though it was smaller than most rollers. Now that I have learned that there is a shoulder bag I’m afraid that there isn’t enough room for my stuff; What a disappointment. After weeks of searching I thought I had found the roller I wanted. I guess not yet !

  • A very functional rolling bag. Took it on a cruise. Three f/2.8 lenses, NIkon D700 body (stored the battery grip in a side compartment), hoodman lens shade, and 1.4 teleconverter in removable camera bag; and two days worth of clothes, extra pair of shoes, sweat pants and jacket in main case. Plane tickets, cruise documents, personal identification in exterior storage pocket. Easy check through airport security, and no problem placing both cases in Jet Blue’s overhead storage. What a treat.
