Well. I look at the bag and it reflects how I like to spend time. It is like a statement of the outdoor photographer! The outdoors, journeys, trekking, sightseeing, travelling, adventures! Once a year or all year around. Ideally I would need 4-5 of them so that my photographer friends won’t have to borrow mine 😀

  • I really need a new, big camera bag for my eqipment! Not only is it a roomy bag for my camera, lenses, tripod and accesories, but it will also make me look amazing while walking in the Norwegian woods and mountains! It will also fit my hot chocolate termos! 🙂

I am 19 year old photography enthusiast with lots of craze to explore the world, next month I am going to visit Kashmir,India. Also I have planned for an Egypt tour during my mid sem break 2013.Previously I had to carry my DSLR and Laptop separately, and lost a lens filter, but if I win the Rover Pro bag, it will be very convenient for me to carry those gadgets.

    Hi,
Here it is ! I’ve been looking for backpacker’s camera bags for years now. I like both hiking and photographing but carrying all my equipment has been quite complicated and heavy so far. I have tested many different options but none were really satisfying.
This bag would be the perfect companion for my next trips and hikes, in the Alps, or in more faraway countries (for me) such as Island or Japan.
Looking forward to test it !

Well, as a student with Ecology as major, I spent a lot of time in the field, especially in forest. I am fascinated by the beauty of the nature. As a result, photography become my favourite way to record them. It is hard to take pictures in field with a lot of other field tools. But I think this bag will be an excellent choice and will be very helpful!

I am going away on a trip to South America (peru,Cuba,Guatemala) soon and have been looking for months for the perfect bag and each time there has been something that has turned me off it, however this bag is brilliant with the perfect amount of room for both camera gear and other equipment that i will need on my day trips. It looks both comfortable and light which is gona be a big deal on the treks up to The incan temples.

Grate! This is the bag I look for since many years ago! There is no other one so indicated for “adventure photographers”… I will be in Morocco next October 15th to forward a trekking up to the Toubkal mountain (4.167 m) 3 days walking up 5-6 hours a day, and I need to carry my Canon 5D Mark II, whith 70-200 and 24-105 lenses, a not very havy tripod and water! and the rest of necessary robes & accessories for the mountain. And I have enough space on the Rover AW Pro 45 whith the lowest weight bag on the market for this capacity… Incredible!

    hi there
I think this bag would help me a lot to carry all the material I need to take pictures of birds in mountain
til now, I have a flipside 400 but I have to take the tripod on my shouders (a big one) and I can’t take all the things I need to stay a long time waiting for my birds
and the reason why I should get this bag is very simple :
the color and design rock !

Hello I need this spectacular bag because the Rezo 110 that I have get too small when I bought a 70-300mm lens and a flash. I’m learning a lot with the notes of professional photographers and I want to thank about that.

  • A fantastic looking backpack. The features, build materials and price are quite the draw. I have a good backpack already, but it’s a bit small for my ever increasing activities and longer trips. I definitely need a bigger bag that can hold the same camera gear I’ve got, plus day time and the occasional overnight camping trip. The fact that this has removable inserts is just icing on the cake for those times I’m not out photographing.

Regardless of who wins, thanks for making quality products and keeping them at reasonable prices!

I woke up today, trying to find a bigger backpack which can hold my computer and camera with lens, the compudaypack is too small for me. Then I saw this amazing stuff for me, the Rover Pro 45 L AW! It is perfect for trekkers like me, who always bring a lot of camera grears even in 15,000 feet highland and for a couple of weeks, like I did late this summer in Annapurna region, Nepal. With another camera bag is not good for balancing in harsh walking conditions when you have to use both legs and arms; I had a few hard time this summer due to rain season in Nepal. So I will use it in all my trekking and hiking if I get it. I love Lowepro, that’s why all my bags are Lowepros :).

    Hey lowepro,

I would love to have the Rover Pro 45L AW, because this amazing bag would be an ideal fit to my photographic equipment. The comfort and accessibility of the bag makes its unique and perfect for my idea of a camera bag, which I will prove itself when I win it!!!

  • Hi Lowepro Team,

unfortunately I lost a lot of my gear during a fire that destroys our house. My Vertex 200 AW, that carries the most of my equipment, was destroyd also. I often go out in the woods to take some landscape or nature sports shots and usually carried my stuff (big body, lenses, tripod, small photo stuff and outdoor equipment) in the Vertex 200.

Even in my holidays I try to visit a few interestig spots to take some nature shots. Especially in the holidays it has to be a litte bit bigger, because I have to carry a lot of things for my two year old son too.

As you can see, the Rover Pro AW 45l would be the perfect backpack for me, to just walk out into nature, without worrying aubout a thing.

There are lots of photo-only bags that are great to protect the photo gear, but with no room for other stuff. And daypacks that offer space for photo and non photo stuff, but rather little of each- at least to my taste. Thus choosing a photo bag for a given outing is always a question of compromise, even for a single day hike. Will the Rover Pro bring an end to this catch-22 ? I can’t wait testing one!
