This bag looks great and I would love to have one. I am into underwater photography and have a lot of gear and travel to numerous far off destinations. This bag looks perfect for my needs.

I am a choreographer and videographer who makes site-specific work while traveling. In November, I will begin a 4-month residency in Thailand, Burma, Laos, Cambodia, and Vietnam. I am currently looking for the right pack or combination of packs to accommodate trekking/camping gear, cameras, and the laptop that I need to edit video on the road. This is the right pack for my crazy occupation, I know it!

  • 21 years ago as teenager i bought a LowePro alpine backbag and my mother sewed removeable camera and lensboxes for protection. The problem was the toploading – do all things out to get the lenses… And there was no choice in the market from any bag-manufacturer for an “all terrain photo backbag – to now! I tested also many photo backbags, but this is not comparable to a mountain style bag. Thanks to LowePro designers!

I’m going to Nepal in October through Scouts to help renovate a health post and will be living within the village for 3 weeks. I just bought a Canon sx40 hs camera so I can document my trip, as I have never done anything like this before it is very exciting. I am currently looking for a daysack and bag for my camera and the Lowepro Rover AW Pro 45l seems to tick both boxes, as every Lowepro seem to solve the problems of multi-use. This bag would be ideal.

As a hiker, biker, soccer coach, traveler, and beginner photographer, I need a bag that can go with me and hold everything. The Rover Pro 45L AW looks like the bag for me. Just what I have been looking for to replace my Camelbak.

I do a lot of backcountry/alpine hiking and I have yet to find a bag solution that works well for photography as well. I would use this bag for my frequent days hikes in the Chugach mountains and remote areas of Alaska.

Having Rover Pro 45L AW will be great for me as a student, as i am currently on exchange in Texas, USA for my college studies. This will definitely come in handy as I intend to backpack to the different states over here!:) Sturdy, weatherproof and reliable are the 3 main criteria i am looking for a bag, and this bag fits it all! 😀

What a great backpack for trekking and outdoors! Sure the best companion for my days through mountains and woods!

  • Wow this backpack is awesome! I use a ‘normal’ one to carry my gear, and a camping one to carry my traveling stuff. Plus, my tripod (which does not enter in my bag). So when I travel somewhere I have to take 2 backpacks and the tripod. This would be awesome to take everything in 1! And, I can’t find backpacks like this in Uruguay :/

Africa is calling! Seriously, how else am I going to manage trekking through the bush for 10 months AND protect my expensive camera equipment unless I win the Rover AW Pro 45L? We were meant to be together! 🙂

  • Ross Thompson says:

Hard to find a really comfortable backpack to carry both camera gear and the necessaries for camping. Looks like you guys have solved the problem – excellent!

  • Doug England says:

The more I photograph the natural beauty in parks and northern areas the more I am drawn greater distances, further along trails, deeper into more remote areas. The Lowepro Rover Pro 45L AW would be perfect for taking my photo gear and camping equipment along as I continue to explore.

I would love to have a Rover AW Pro 45l. I live for my weekend landscape shoots. Up to my ankles in water, shooting in rivers and a bag that suits my outdoor adventure style. Form meets function.
