Ego Action Cam and Helmet

We have a tantalizing combo for one lucky Free Bag Friday winner this week.

Start with the versatile Photo Hatchback 16L that is perfect for on-the-go photography. Then, thanks to our friends at Liquid Image, we’re also offering an Ego + WiFi action cam, underwater housing, and a vented helmet mount… yes, those would be the plus.

Here’s how to participate.

Rules:

  • Tweet @Lowepro and @Liquidimage
  • Write a few words about how the #PhotoHatchback and #EgoWiFi are a fun tandem.
  • Use those hashtags!

Not on Twitter? No problem.

  • Share a photo of your current camera bag and why you need the Photo Hatchback 16L AW to carry your new Ego + WiFi camera on Instagram.
  • Use hashtags #Lowepro and #PhotoHatchback.

Not on Twitter or Instagram? Just add a comment to this blog about how you’d use the bag and Ego+WiFi camera if you won. We’ll randomly select a winner on Tuesday, April 23, 2013. The winning comment, tweet, or photo will be posted here and on our Facebook Fan Page.

Open internationally, but void where prohibited. One winner will be chosen randomly.

Good luck!

Congrats to Sean Parker ( @seanparkerphoto ) for winning Free Bag Friday Plus!

When I win the price, then ill get my bike an camerabag and go bicycle in the national park: The Veluwe in the Netherlands and take picutres with my Nikon D3100 of the beautiful nature and film the bycycle tour. When i come home, i send the film to my PC with the Wifi.

  • Pam says:

well, i would post a pic of my current camera bag, but sadly i don’t have one 🙁 i would use this bag to carry all my gear when my girls and i go on bike rides/photo rides/walks. the helmet would not only protect my cranium 🙂 but having the ego+wifi camera would be fun way to document our adventures…giving it a new perspective. would love to test it out at the beach, too, for underwater adventures.

  • Daniel Mansel says:

The helmet camera could be used for any number of activities. Filmin/photographingg ATV trails or bike path. The bag on the other hand would make a great upgrade for my current lowepro slung bag that is beginning to feel too cramped for my current equipment load.

  • Dave Benson says:

I need a helmet to replace my old one, so that is perfect, and the camera would record all the wonderful places I would cycle so I could share it with my kids (all grown up)… and I still have a small corner in my Vertex 300 where it could fit when not in use….

  • Mike says:

    I would live with them!

I have a SlingShot 202, it’s a great bag but it’s been a while I was looking for a backpack and the Hatchback is just what I need, it is safe, comfort and has more space for personal stuff and I don’t need to use another bag for my tablet 🙂

This is the kit that I would never leave at home, I would take it everywhere with me, beach, mountains or city, I would never miss a shot again if I win this set.

  • Dan hawk says:

Ohhh….looks like a great combo for documenting the daily bike commute. Bag for carrying the daily big gear and the helmet cam for the ride.

  • Rhys Bowley says:

I would use the gear whilst motorbiking through the mountains of Wales. We get a lot of wind and rain here, so I’m always looking for gear that’s up to the job.

  • Saifuddin says:

Cycle is my prime way to go around the city and I use Lowepro Photo Sport 200 AW but hatch pack seems more practical and convenient and with Liquid Image’s Ego + WiFi action cam, underwater housing, and a vented helmet mount it will be lethal.

  • Jesi says:

Wow this combo is so fun! I would use the bag to stash my growing number of cameras/video cameras and accessories to capture every detailed moment of my two little boys. The camera would be so much fun to mount on the boys (age 2 & 5) helmets to get their perspective of the world! Thank You!

  • MJ I. says:

As a journalism (-photojournalism) student, I’d use this bag while I’m on assignments, or out on the trails and urban wandering. The Ego+wifi cam, with it’s hd capabilities, will come in handy for recording footage while I’m riding or out in the water, documenting my adventures.

  • Jordan Egli says:

The drawstring back pack just isn’t cutting it anymore. I need to protect my gear. I need something that can take the fast paced action of my life. I will use this equipment to help tell the stories of the crazy adventures I find myself on. From mountain biking on the side of a shear cliff, to kayaking on the bay trying to catch the big one. I need this to help make telling the stories possible.

  • Jeff says:

The Ego and Photo Hatchback 16L AW would be perfect to take on family holidays and bike rides.

  • Dustin H. says:

I would use the bag to carry any photo gear I want around the mountain while I document my snowboarding first person with the Ego + Wifi camera!

    • Kimberly C. says:

The Photo Hatchback 16L would be perfect for my hikes to do wildlife photography! I would have a blast with the Ego + WiFi action cam and accessories too! The underwater housing would help me to get some incredible water shots and I wouldn’t have to worry about the cam in bad weather! With the Photo Hatchback 16L paired with the Ego + WiFi action cam and accessories, I could easily bike to new locations too and it would be easier to maneuver into perfect spots for animal and nature shots!

  • Andrew says:

I would use the setup to document my kayaking adventures.
