Alternate Packing for the Lowepro Transit Sling 250 AW

I covered earlier how to pack the Transit Sling 250 AW for Micro Four Thirds, but this versatile bag can also be quickly reconfigured to accommodate a DSLR kit. Here’s the way that configuration looks.

Lowepro calls this the UltraFlex Fit System. By folding down the center divider and revealing the DSLR cutout, you can carry an entirely different equipment set. Here I have packed a Canon 60D DSLR with a Canon 70-200mm f/4 telephoto with lens hood on. In the side access pocket, I have the 15mm-85mm Canon zoom and a 50mm f/1.8 prime.

I can access the additional lenses through the side pocket, or the DSLR with telephoto through the top area. This allows me to work quickly without having to remove the bag from my body. My iPad is secured in the dedicated table pocket in the back.

Just in case you forgot, here’s the Micro Four Thirds configuration for the same bag.
