What was the moment or event that sparked your desire to become a photographer?
Back in 2006 I was working in the automotive industry and had to attend some training for my new job. This training took place in Munich, Ingolstadt, and Neckarsulm, Germany. During this trip I had a blast exploring all that Germany had to offer and came back with 3000 plus shots from a little point and shoot camera. This was when I realized I really loved photography.

Your imagery is all about luxury and lifestyle. How do you like to present your point of view on exotic automobiles, classic timepieces, beautiful people and amazing gear?
Live life to the fullest! I can only hope that my images of the luxury lifestyle which does include rare cars, watches, etc., can help to inspire people to reach out and chase their dreams. Sometimes it just takes a little push…..sometimes it takes something visual (hopefully one of my images).

Tell us about your involvement with the goldRush Rally that took place earlier this summer?
Well, this is my 6th year doing the goldRush Rally and its one of my favorite parts of the year. Not only is this rally fun and exciting, but it also helps to raise money for a charity called the Taylor Lynn Foundation. Last year the rally was able to raise $90,000 for this foundation, which led to helping underprivileged children throughout the country. I’m the host of the rally and help out with some of the planning. This year I shared co-piloting duties once again with Ramin Arami, Goldrush Founder, in a Ferrari 458. When not driving, I was either shooting or editing my images in the car.

How did you approach this shoot?
Being that this was my 6th year on the rally, I knew what the trip would entail: being able to pack a ton of gear into small compartments and have easy access to all of my gear easily. I knew what gear I had to bring and I knew Lowepro was the best way to help transport all of the gear.

How did you like using the Pro Runner x450 and how did it help you organize?
I cant say enough about this camera organization system. I had to have my essentials with me and being able to pack my camera gear in a Ferrari can be a challenge. Having a roller can help save your back when you are carrying a ton of gear, but the Pro Runner still gives you the option to make it a backpack if needed. Ease of use, comfort and efficiency are the Pro Runner’s strongest features.

What’s the next, cool shooting opportunity you’re looking forward to?
Coming up shortly is Monterey Car Weekend. All the big car collectors in the world travel to Monterey for this amazing weekend. There’s vintage car racing, car shows, auctions of high-profile cars. If you are a car nut, you gotta check it out. I’ll be there, and so will my Lowepro Gear!!!!
