The second stop of our European tour is London. Standing on the River Thames, this major city has a 2 millennia history. Our British workmate Tim took us on a tour of one of the world’s most visited cities!

Historical monuments and skyscrapers blend into an incredible skyline. From early morning until late at night, many vloggers, Instagramers and photographers stroll through the streets to catch creative shots.

Funny fact: The name Big Ben is often used for the tower, which is in fact the Elizabeth Tower.  Big Ben is the great bell which is located inside.  Big Ben cracked in 1859, giving the very special sonority we hear today.

In addition to the historic side of the city, urban photographers will find plenty of good spots to satisfy their exploration desires.  Lowepro’s new Flipside series is the perfect choice for passionate travelers!

The Tube and the red buses give all their symbolism to London! During two days, the team walked through the city, using the oldest underground network in the world, dated from 1863, and its emblematic logo representing the city of London.

Stay tuned for the next step of our European tour! A small hint: we will be heading South to very colourful cliffs!
